On World Environment Day, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said that 3 crore trees will be planted in a year in Haryana and plantation would be done on 10 percent of the 8 lakh acres of panchayat land, which will be named as Oxy Forest. Not only this, all the trees planted in a year will also be named Oxy Forests.

To promote the process of gettingnatural Oxygen from trees, plantations will be done in the name of Panchavati in every village of Haryana. Besides this, agro Forestry will also be promoted on vacant land so that Panchayat income in rural areas can also increase.

Besides this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid foundation stones of three other projects at the same programme, these include laying foundation stone of Nagar Van Panchkula, starting Panchavati plantation at 134 places of Kurukshetra pilgrimage and Pran Vayu Devta Pension Scheme.

Khattar said that the Mera Pani-Meri Virasat scheme was started by the to save water for future generations. He said that for this, it was decided that an incentive amount of Rs.7000 per acre would be given to the farmers adopting crop diversification in place of paddy and now the government has decided that any farmer who opts for agro forestry and Plants 400 trees on his land, then an amount of Rs.10,000 would be given to such farmers for a period of three years instead of Rs. 7000.

He said, ‘Pranvayu Devta Pension’ scheme will be unique and the first of its kind in India. As a matter of honour, the State Government has taken an initiative to honour all those trees which are of the age of 75 years and above and have served humanity throughout their life by producing oxygen, reducing pollution, providing shade and so on. Such trees will be identified throughout the state and these will be looked after by involving local people in this scheme.

Health Ministers Discretionary Grant (HMDG):

According to HMDG, a subsidy of up to Rs 1.25 lakhs is provided to patients with an annual income of less than Rs 1.25 lakhs

By providing their Ration Card number, beneficiaries can apply for financial assistance under both schemes.

In a virtual ceremony, Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas launched a number of initiatives to give a major boost to the SATAT initiative.

The goal of the SATAT scheme is to establish Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) production Plants and make CBG available on the market for use as a green fuel.

By 2023, SATAT aims to produce 15 MMT of CBG from 5000 plants.

It has the potential to increase the availability of low-cost transportation fuels, as well as make better use of agricultural waste, cattle dung, and municipal solid waste.

It will also provide an of 175,000 crore rupees, which is an additional Source Of Income for farmers, as well as 75,000 direct jobs and 100,000 indirect jobs.

Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi (RAN):

Under RAN, poor patients suffering from major life-threatening diseases are eligible for financial assistance of up to Rs 15 lakhs for treatment at Government hospitals.

The eligibility criteria for RAN Services were based on the BPL thresholds in each state/UT.

Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS):

It is a comprehensive Health Scheme for Serving Employees, Members of Parliament, ex-MPs, Pensioners, and others, as well as their dependent family members.
It has expanded to 72 cities in the last 7 years.
The NIC-developed e-referral module has enabled CGHS dispensaries and wellness centres to issue online referrals to empanelled hospitals.
