Haryana Govt to set up a call centre to offer employment related assistance to citizens
After implementing 75 percent reservation for people of the state in private jobs, the Manohar Lal Khattar Government in Haryana has decided to set up a call centre to provide assistance to its citizens and seek feedback on various aspects related to EMPLOYMENT. The outbound call centre is proposed to be launched to provide personalized assistance to the job seekers, offer information on different government policies and schemes, redress grievances of citizens and address the queries of job seekers. Besides this, a bulk messaging service is also planned to be started by the government to connect to the citizens on employment related issues.
The Haryana State Employment of Local Candidates Act, 2020 that reserves 75 per cent of jobs in the private sector in Haryana offering a salary of less than Rs 30,000 a month only to locals came into effect on January 15, 2022. Under this, any local candidate (resident of Haryana) aggrieved by the action of any employer in violation of any provision of the Act, can file a complaint with the government.

MPATGM Successfully Test Fired By DRDO
The DRDO successfully test-fired the MPATGM’s final delivery configuration On 11 January.

The Man-Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM) was successfully flight tested in its final “deliverable version” by the DEFENCE Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Bharat Dynamics Limited will manufacture MPATGM at their facilities in Bhanoor, .
The goal of the missile’s testing was to ensure that it performed consistently at a minimum range of 200-300 meters.
MPATGM has already completed a comparable test with a maximum range of 4,000 meters.
Following this successful test, the MPATGM system is now ready for mass manufacturing in India.
The purpose of this test was to demonstrate that the minimal range’s performance was constant. All of the mission’s goals were accomplished.
Mission Amanat Launched by Indian Railways
Mission Amanat has been launched by Indian Railways to assist travelers in tracking down their misplaced possessions.

Digital Sansad Launched By Lok Sabha
the Lok Sabha secretariat unveiled a new app called “Digital Sansad.”

America COMPETES Act 2022

CHIRU Naval Drills
CHIRU is a naval exercise that China, Russia, and Iran recently performed in Oman.
Highlights:
China sent the missile destroyer Urumqi to participate in the exercise. The countries are now looking for ways to strengthen their military ties.
Russia sent a task force from its Pacific Fleet to participate in the exercise.
The Admiral Tributs anti-submarine warfare ship and the Nakhimov missile cruiser.
Military artillery fire was directed at sea targets by the countries.
They also participated in tactical maneuvering. During the exercise, the countries also practiced anti-piracy drills.
