10 new govt hospitals likely in Hayana by year-end, each will have 30 beds
The health department plans to set up 10 hospitals across the state to improve healthcare services and ease patient load on district-level facilities. The hospitals, each with 30 beds, will be built by the end of this year.
According to health department officials, the facilities will be constructed by HSVP and will function under the supervision of community health centres in the area. The plots will be identified and construction will start soon, they said.
The objective is to fill critical gaps in health infrastructure, surveillance, and health research in both urban and rural areas, so communities are equipped in managing pandemics or other public health crises, officials said.

1D Wormhole Corrosion : New Form Of Corrosion
This type of corrosion is characterized by a wormhole-like 1D morphology that can serve as a mass-flow pathway.
The discovery of this type of corrosion is significant for the understanding of material degradation mechanisms in molten salt environments, particularly in relation to next-generation nuclear power plants that use molten salts as coolants.
The 1D wormhole corrosion is a highly localized form of penetrating corrosion that occurs in a nickel-chromium alloy when exposed to molten fluoride salt.
